Very, very happy to make it into one of my favorite lit mags, Scaffold Lit! This one simmered in my head for about a month, tinkering and thinking about it, not rushing it, which is different from my usual way of writing: just getting something I think is "good enough" and sending it out. I need to spend more time making sure my pieces feel 100%, and not being as worried about getting something out the door in hopes of getting published. Read it...here.
