post 938. RANT in myssfit magazine.

I first met RANT in Seattle back in 2012, and have been so fortunate to have been able to work with them as the years have passed on by. This recent set has been picked up by Myssfit magazine, and I'm so happy to see it out there! You can download the PDF version of this ish for free - lots of incredible works to see!

Many many thanks to Myssfit, and the unstoppable, never-ending power that is RANT, and incredibly talented artist, and great friend!

There were so many great pictures from this session, I can't help but share a liiittle more of it. I shot this on a Canon Rebel 2000 with Ilford Orthochromatic film.

post 936. jacqui in kompromise magazine, and in a brownie.

Always feelin' lucky when the folks from Kompromise accept my work! My latest editorial, Under Cover Of Sunlight, features bestie Jacqui, and is now live on their site!

Really happy the photos came out so well: Jacqui and I did one of my favorite things to do, which is the old wander-and-shoot when we find a good spot. Along for the ride, I bought some orthochromatic film and loaded it up in the old--real old--Kodak Brownie I bought 10 years ago in Seattle. While I haven't used this camera enough to really feel like I've "figured it out," its still kicking some tasty moods over a 100 years later:

post 935. new work published.

Many, many thanks to the fine folks of Mister Magazine for featuring my micro piece "Blank Magic" on their site!

Here's some video of me reading the piece at the BULLSHIT Lit's launch of their second anthology:

post 934. new work published.

Very happy to see a flash piece I've been working on (...and working on...and working on) find a home with the folks at Free Flash Fiction. Added bonus? They asked if I had any artwork in mind for the piece, so I hit up my photography hero, Rizmo Ingles for some help. Riz and his photography have been an artistic inspiration of mine since I met him back in college. Go check it out!
